The Visit

It is a privilege to be able to medically treat someone,
It is an honour to be able to be there during their last days.
It is a privilege to be able to do it objectively,
Not knowing a person's life story, their baggage and even their demons.

So, don't judge family when they mistreat or act indifferently towards your patient.
They have their reasons for doing so,
They know your patient more than you do,
And that makes all the difference.
